As part of the Verification Services Marketing Team, the Content Marketing Specialist will support in executing the External Communications strategy for The Work Number® suite of solutions. You will work cross-functionally to develop and pitch compelling content to drive brand awareness and lead generation. This position will have a strong emphasis on storytelling -- helping establish and further product value messaging, and amplify this messaging on Equifax’s web and social media channels. For this role, we’re specifically looking for someone coming from a content strategy and/or copywriting role.

This key position reports into our Verification Services team and will join the company’s largest and fastest growing business unit. To help support high double-digit growth, we are looking for a high-performance individual looking to make their mark to help grow the business and their career.

What you'll do:  

  • Write, edit and publish proactive and compelling content.
  • Identify external content opportunities. Manage day-to-day content opportunities and inquiries with business partners, agency partners and leaders.
  •  Serve as key contact for publishing and promotion on internal content management system (Seismic/SPOT).
  • Help implement strategic marketing communications calendar, complete with blog content support, industry award mapping, paid and earned content, executive visibility initiatives and sales support materials.
  • Support the development of technical communication plans related to partner API integration strategies.
  • Leverage market research, data, trends, SEO strategies and customer insights to create content that supports future growth.
  • Partner with internal teams (Digital Strategy, Product, Sales, D&A) to align content with key business objectives and industry trends.
  • Serve as day-to-day lead for awareness campaign initiatives (e.g. web and programmatic banner ads). 
  • Assist with measurement and reporting processes with agency partners.

What experience you need:

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years’ content creation experience in a complex and B2B environment.

  • Experience in Financial Services, Banking & Lending, or other FinTech service offerings is a plus.
