The Business Development Executive – Inside Sales position is a critical role essential to our Sales Channel growth strategy.  The Business Development Executive is a pure hunter, responsible for new business development and customer acquisition where Equifax currently has limited to no relationship with the prospect organization. The individual will develop high-level relationships with customers, identify business problems or needs, buyer requirements, and recommend effective value-added solutions to solve the business needs.  Candidates should be sales-driven and possess a competitive, energetic, and ambitious spirit to add to a winning culture.  Rewards are high and have no limits for those that consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and secure New Customers/Partner Sales

  • Land and grow new Customer/Partner Revenue across the EFX solution portfolio

  • Develop contact network within new Customers/Partners and facilitates connection to relevant EFX counterparts

  • Lay early foundation for long-term Customer/Partner Relationships

  • Identify, develop, manage, and close opportunities spanning all Equifax solutions with Prospects

  • Complete appropriate research on the prospective Client’s business imperatives and Risk, Fraud, and Marketing strategies

  • Define and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth while delivering meaningful Customer value

  • Network to build relationships with economic buyers, decision makers, and influencers in target Customers

  • Leverage Account, Solution, and Delivery team resources effectively and at appropriate times to advance opportunities

  • Lead Account Strategy motions with cross-functional team to identify sales opportunities tied to EFX value-add

  • Respond to Prospect RFI and RFPs 

  • Drive strong pipeline development and sales execution

What makes you a good fit for this role?

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B strategic sales/prospecting in the technology/financial services industry or related field

  • Proven track record developing new business and delivering revenue growth in direct sales

  • Experience in a ‘hunter’ type role, able to quickly build pipeline, qualify/disqualify opportunities, and close contracts

  • Possess energy, ambition, and persistence necessary to contact and win with a large volume of prospects

  • Commanding phone presence and strong ability to influence and explain complex solutions via phone

  • Executive level sales, account and relationship management skills essential to influence decision making

  • Ability to operate and succeed in a matrix organization, and collaborating effectively with a cross-functional team to align and coordinate internal resources

  • Refined skills in developing and delivering compelling presentations  

  • Executive presence and comfort level presenting to senior executive levels

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Extremely flexible and adaptable to be able to sell into a variety of industries and prospects

  • Proven self-starter and driven professional who enjoys winning, relationship building, and problem solving

  • Strong business acumen and desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment

What will make you stand out above the rest?

  • BS / BA from accredited University is strongly preferred
