Reporting to UK Technology Assurance Manager, the Technology Assurance Analyst will support and execute activities within the Technology organisation, to remain compliant and meet standards set by Equifax Inc and various local/international governing and regulatory bodies. This is a very exciting time to join the Equifax Technology team as we are investing over $1.5bn in the Transformation of our technology landscape. The team is spearheading that transformation by embarking on a very ambitious Cloud and Business Transformation programme.

The ideal candidate will have a background of working in a matrix environment with cross-border and cross-functional teams in order to deliver outcomes. Good communication skills, engagement acumen and stakeholder management are critical to this role as there are a diverse set of internal and external customers that need managing.

What You’ll Do 

Risk

  • Report/review existing or emerging Technology risks working with the Enterprise Risk Office

  • Report Key Risk Indicators and monthly reporting measures to RIsk Office / Risk Committee

  • Governance and Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain IT Risk Register

Compliance

  • Support the Business Process Architecture on behalf of UK Technology, including assurance of the processes outlined

  • Support SOX controls and activity (including attestations and submissions by IT Leadership)

  • Governance and Stakeholder Management

  • Support Technology requests and responses to regulators

Audit

  • Coordinate Technology input to key regulatory and accreditation audits such as PCI-DSS, IT General Control Audits and ISO 27001.

  • Support third party and partner audits

  • Report audit activities and support Internal Audit (including planning and remediation)

  • Report and update on all outstanding actions to various stakeholders

  • Governance and Stakeholder Management

  • Attend various global and local governance meetings and committees around Security, Compliance and Risk

  • Support Technology Security Compliance Activities and KPIs 

 

What experience you need

  • Although not a mandatory requirement, relevant certifications in Risk, Compliance or Audit would be advantageous (e.g. CIA, CISA, ICA)

  • Previous experience in dealing with regulatory bodies such as FCA, ICO, etc

  • Experience in Technology in a similar role is highly desirable although not a must-have but it should be recognised that the role is placed in the Technology organisation

  • Previous experience in at least 2 of the 3 dimensions highlighted in the “Key responsibilities” section to the role is a prerequisite for application
