Job Summary:
Delivering on the organization´s B2B product solutions to drive overall business objectives, including industry insights, product management, new product innovation, communications and pricing across the credit lending lifecycle.  Creative discovery and development process for new product ideas or strategic product extensions.  Translating market insights into usable and marketable products.  Researching, developing, planning, designing, maintaining and implementing policies and programs that enhance the organization´s relations with the community, the public, governmental and regulatory authorities, shareholders and/or employees.

What You'll Do:

  • Ability to identify market needs and opportunities through a variety of sources and generate innovative product offerings and concepts that solve key customer pain points.

  • Complete market & competitive opportunity assessment: define market needs, size markets/segments, analyze competitive offerings, determine distinctive competencies, validate customer problems, define user personas and evaluate solution fit to drive innovation and market/customer expansion.

  • Develop business cases and business plans that ensure strategic objectives are attained by driving customer acquisition, market share growth, cross sell and retention

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to contribute to, and execute on, go-to-market plans, deciding if there are new build needs, working with pricing on profitability, legal/security on permissibility, professional services for implementation, user guides, and operations for training and sales.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders and executives to clearly articulate the customer and product experience vision, desired functionality, and measurements of success.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience within the Canadian Lending / Financial industries and/or experience deploying B2B data driven insights solutions with in-depth knowledge of product management strategy and execution within a regulated environment.

  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and change in a collaborative and agile environment

  • Well organized and focused on “high value” activities, with excellent ability to prioritize. Able to guide the team to follow the product vision and critical path, and produce strong results through others

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or similar field required. M.B.A. preferred
