Technical Security Analyst

Job Summary 

Equifax is looking for a Technical Security Analyst who can assess, review, and remediate any and all vulnerabilities identified globally on Equifax internal and external systems as well as perform incident response activities.

What You’ll do:   

  • Work with key leaders to understand business requirements and base configurations to meet business needs and objectives

  • Identify cybersecurity discrepancies and remediation solutions through vulnerability assessment and pen testing

  • Serve as the first level analyst for security operations to review potential security events

  • Assists with security and compliance audits as required

  • Review solutions to ensure appropriate security controls are in place

  • Write project documentation related to information security processes, issues, and incident investigations

  • Assist with the remediation of deficiencies found during investigations

What experience you’ll need:  

  • 2 years of work experience in information security, or demonstrated concurrent security experience (internships, work experience) for graduating college seniors

  • Knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operations

  • Knowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards and industry best practices

 

What could set you apart :  

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, management information systems, or a related field.

  • Security+ or other security and technology related certifications

  • Ability to deliver with established deadlines with quality results
