Senior Crypto / PKI Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Crypto/PKI expert across a broad range of global audiences, including business leaders, information technology practitioners, and software development teams.

  • Manage PKI systems, HSMs and Manage Key Management Systems (KMS) on Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure.

  • Deliver secure architecture designs in private and public clou and automate processes with DevOps tools.

  • Craft and maintain documented standards, processes, and procedures, aligning to company culture, policy, and standard methodologies.

  • Develop user guides and functional documentation. Develop and execute technology road maps to secure and deliver Cryptography and PKI services.

  • Explore new secure identity technologies through testing, rating, and reporting on various potential solutions, with the objective of recommending the best solution for the current environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) services with a minimum of 5 years in IT.

  • Experience with scripting languages Python, PowerShell, Perl, Bash preferred and with HSMs, DevOps  vaulting solutions is a plus

  • Experience with architecting and managing PKI (MS PKI, Managed PKI, Cloud PKI etc.), experience with cloud and specifically with GCP and AWS key management

  • Experience with Certificate Lifecycle Management tools and with symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, X.509 certificates, and PKCS Standards and with API integration

  • Knowledge of Industry standard DevOps tools (CI/CD, Git, Scripting, Gradle, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).

  • Knowledge of Security Best Practices as they relate to Crypto and other IT domains. Knowledge on FIPS 140-2 / FIPS 140-3 and NIST standards​
