What you’ll do:
The Machine Learning Engineer(MLE) will be responsible for analytics technology and deployment of attributes & models. MLEs are cross-disceiplined member of a team of analytical and technical staff, and influence others in the development and maintenance of the analytic ecosystem and techniques used by the Data Science team to produce attribute suites, models & scores, and to deploy these to internal (other teams) and external (EFX clients) users
MLEs are expected to be able to operate independently, applying new perspectives to existing solutions to solve complex problems within standard guidelines & policies. They are able to develop work plans of short-term assignments of moderate complexity.
What are we looking for?
● More than 5 years’ experience in analytics and technology.
● Ability to understand client industry issues and business environment to scope and deliver
● Flexibility to effectively manage changing schedules and priorities and to able to work
independently with minimal supervision
● Highly numerate, exceptionally rigorous with an attention to detail and the ability to think
logically, rationally and laterally
● Strong presentation and communication skills
● Knowledge of statistical modelling techniques
● Demonstrated expertise managing databases and/or data architecture
● Above-average competency using SQL (SQL Server, H2, Hive, BigQuery)
● Above-average competency using version control (Git or Subversion)
● Proven ability to automate a process using one of Python, Java, C++ or R
● Exposure to a wide range of data representations including RDBMS, Document, Name /
Key Value Pair and Graphing database
