What you’ll do:
As the Compliance Manager you will provide responsive, efficient, practical and high quality compliance services to Equifax’s businesses, specifically in relation to laws and industry standards affecting operations in Australia & New Zealand. This role provides support to the Head of Compliance and the ANZ Compliance function where you will make recommendations, implement policies and procedures to ensure Equifax is in compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.
This role will see you collaborating with the wider Compliance team, internal legal counsel, and other internal & external advisors in each applicable jurisdiction. You will also be assisting the Head of Compliance to monitor and stay abreast of changes in laws affecting operations.

What are we looking for?
Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar role within Legal, Compliance, or Operational Risk in an organisation of a similar industry, size & complexity.
Hold a Bachelor of Law Degree at a minimum
Proven relationship & senior stakeholder management skills with a resilient mindset.
Comfortable to operate and manage your time independently
Can apply a new perspective on existing solutions to solve complex problems
Proven experience to make decisions within guidelines and policies that impact a range of customer, operational, process or project activities.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Strong personal integrity with superior professionalism in handling matters with a heavy privacy focus.
Effective complaints & regulatory management skills including identifying risks and trends.
Extra points for any of the following:
Previous experience in Audit/Risk Management within the Financial Services sector will be highly regarded.
