As a Commercial Solutions Consultant your mission is to support the sales team by helping to progress deals efficiently through the various stages of the sales cycle to ultimately close deals. As a Commercial Solutions Consultant, you will explore and understand prospects' business strategies and processes. Commercial Solution Consultants are experts in recognizing where and how Equifax solutions offer value to a prospect's business and are able to proficiently communicate that value in a compelling and easily understood manner. This may be accomplished through written communication (emails, RFPs, etc...), conversationally and through product/platform demonstrations. Commercial Solutions Consultants are responsible for an individual revenue quota based on the sales cycles that they support.

What You'll Do:

  • Work assigned deals in close collaboration with the associated account executive and gather input from all relevant stakeholders at a prospect's company and adapt solution demonstrations and narratives to ensure presentations are well received.

  • Prioritize effort based on revenue attainment or as directed by Commercial Line of Business Leadership

  • Facilitate discovery calls and workshops to understand prospects' business processes and uncover areas where Equifax solutions can generate the most value

  • Develop compelling business cases that support large ROIs based on the information gleaned from prospect conversations

  • Identify areas that may create friction in the sales cycle or that may negatively impact the adoption of the proposed solution. This may include helping to navigate the political landscape of a prospects' organization, assessing the motivations behind the various stakeholders, assessing how Equifax solutions may or may not fit into existing business processes.

  • Coordinate closely with your counterparts in sales as well as consulting and product management teams to align the proposed solution design with prospects' business requirements.

  • Clearly communicate a compelling narrative that demonstrates how Equifax solutions will fit into prospects' technology environment, embed into business processes and deliver value

  • Provide coaching and professional development to colleagues in order to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills and industry awareness.

  • Opportunistically pursue additional business development opportunities within the prospect's company in collaboration with account executives.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of sales or sales/solution consulting in a business-to-business, large/strategic customer segment

  • Commercial Credit Risk Management and/or Data Insights experience is preferred. For example, knowledge of commercial trade credit processes and operations would be valuable

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or other related fields

  • Working proficiency in Hootsuite, Salesforce, G Suite Applications, and video conferencing software, or the ability to quickly learn and understand new software
