We are seeking a Java Software Engineer to develop dynamic and scalable solutions for our Global Consumer Solutions member site. You will be working with Java spring backend and Angular on Frontend on a range of customer platforms and applications hosted on AWS.

What you’ll do 

You will work as a catalyst on high priority initiatives, developing new products for our Global Consumer Solutions product portfolio.

  • Perform general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to development environment and technical documentation.

  • You will collaborate within a team responsible for technical vision and development of our applications through the entire lifecycle

  • Facilitating code reviews, code quality checks, testing, automation, etc.

  • Ensure integrated end-to-end design 

What experience you need

  • Over 4 years experience working with Java Developer with technologies such as Spring (Core, MVC, Boot) and Hibernate

  • Experience with the following: Angular, Restful services and Jenkins

  • Thorough technical knowledge, understanding and experience of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and XP.

What could set you apart

  • Working experience with Agile testing frameworks including BDD/TDD practices, code review and analysis techniques.

  • Working experience with the following AWS, GCP, Docker, Apigee
