Director, Global Security Mergers + Acquisitions

Job Summary 

Equifax is looking for a Director, Global Security Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) who will deliver Security due diligence efforts, develop security M&A capability inventories, drive prioritization of integration activity, propose enhancements to M&A playbooks, and track progress across multiple workstreams

What You’ll Do: 

 

  • Provide leadership and management of security and risk due diligence evaluation and integration delivery for prospective acquisition targets 

  • Influence and educate on security and privacy risks to help technical and business stakeholders understand the potential impacts and support decision making

  • Evaluate the current state of security operations for the target organization and develop acquisition strategies and plans to drive timely alignment to core controls and standards

  • Track security risks across the acquisition lifecycle and in develop mitigation and response strategies in a prioritized manner

  • Understand the balance required amongst technology, process, and people to create and maintain strong working partnerships with target teams and internal stakeholders

  • Serve as a primary liaison with a number of teams involved in the M&A process, including, but not limited to: Corporate Development, Legal, Technology, Product, Finance, and others,

  • Keeping security requirements at the forefront and in parallel supportive of the goals and objectives of our partner organizations at all times.

  • Escalate and bring to attention any matter of importance that involves any significant risk, regulatory, or legal challenge to the potential acquisition along with solutions to resolve.

  • Elevate the Security M&A program processes, methodologies, and delivery to continuously improve and advance best practices in support of the company’s acquisition strategy.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

  What experience you’ll need  

  • 5+ years of experience specific to 1 or more of the following disciplines :

    • Security or Technology driven M&A activity (Due Diligence, Integration Activity) 

    • Cybersecurity Project and Program Management, Analysis, Audit, Regulatory, or Compliance

 

What could set you apart :  

  • College degree (BS/BA)

  • PMP, CISA, CISM, CISSP or other applicable certifications are a plus
