Synopsis of the role

Develop functional specifications that satisfy client requirements (small-medium scale). 
Collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to review and refine requirements. 
Actively address issues; setting priorities when appropriate and escalating issues when needed. 
Lead production deployment planning and perform system validation. Assist clients with ongoing support for applications.

What You’ll Do

  •  Investigate and resolve internal and/or external clients' requests of complex access, configuration, compliance, functionality issues that have been escalated from external and internal clients.

  • Troubleshoots using different production and support applications, file archives, logs, and technical team contacts to resolve reported problems.

  • Document research and communications/resolutions via ticketing tools.

  • Communicate with requesters while working on problems (requests for additional information, status updates, resolutions, conference calls).

  • Provide during- and after-business hours on-call support for urgent requests. Participate in promotion testing(after hours).

  •  Work with other teams on issue resolutions (when needed). Maintain team documentation, participating in and supporting service improvement efforts.

  • Operate at a Tier 3 level.

Qualifications 

  •  Bachelor's Degree or 5 years+ of equivalent work experience and proven knowledge 

  • Applies a theoretical knowledge-base to work to achieve goals through own work 

  • Characterized by specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education and May provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise

  •  Strong Understanding of cloud technologies (Google Cloud & AWS) and tools like Ansible is a big plus

  • Ability to drive to resolve infrastructure issues (real or perceived) by proactively engaging other groups or resources to provide updates, information, next steps, etc. And Develops work plans for short-term assignments of moderate complexity

  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience needed to operate independently with limited guidance and oversight and Applies a new perspective on existing solutions to solve complex problems 

  •  Makes decisions within guidelines and policies that impact a range of customer, operational, process, or project activities
