Information Security Compliance Analyst


 

Synopsis of the role

As part of the Canadian Business Information Security Team, your main objective as our Client Information Security Analyst will be integrating our global security function to enable secure delivery of services to our clients, and protecting all data under our care and expert consultation on the management of risk.

As Client Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the development of a robust and repeatable audit process that is both externally facing (on clients) and internally facing (hosting client audits on us). The Client Information Security Analyst is essential to ensuring a repeatable audit and evidence delivery process that provides assurances to our clients, consumers and regulators. The Client Information Security Analyst position is responsible for coordinating all local and global relationships with IT, Legal, Privacy and the business as a whole with regard to policies, standards, procedures and the gathering and delivery of evidence for compliance activities as well as the collection of and remediation planning for evidence collected for our clients and on our 3rd parties and under the purview of the Senior Director Client Security

What You’ll Do

  • You will manage a repeatable client security assurance program based on ISO 27001:2013, PCI DSS and SSAE-18, among others

  • Answer client questions via email and meetings on Equifax Security and IT programs

  • Respond to client request for proposals (RFP) on behalf of security

  • You'll ensure a repeatable audit and evidence delivery process that provides assurances consumers, regulators, and our clients

  • You will coordinate all local and global relationships with IT, Legal, Privacy and the business as a whole with regard to policies, standards, procedures

  • You will gather and deliver evidence for compliance activities

  • You will be responsible for the collection of and remediation planning for evidence collected for our clients and on our 3rd parties and under the purview of the Senior Director Client Security


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Demonstrable experience in at least one security domain: Access Management, Network Security, Server Security, Risk Management, Application Security

  • Ability to lead multiple projects

  • Extraordinary teamwork, relationship and interpersonal skills.

  • 2+ years working in security compliance and/or information security


Extra Points for any of the Following

  • A solid grasp of security best practices and international standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SSAE-18, PIPEDA, Shared Assessment SIG, CSA CSM, NIST CSF etc.

  • Security Training and Awareness, Security Governance, and Security Incident Management knowledge & experience

  • CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CEH or related security certifications
