As a Technical Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for the planning and design of cloud-based customer solutions in the Risk Decisioning space. This role is essential to developing deep, trusted relationships with clients at all levels, including executives, business owners and professionals translating technology capabilities into the appropriate business value. The person in this role will work with Equifax clients as a technical consultant on new and existing client implementations, assisting them with integrating onto Equifax's cloud-based APIs and documenting their solution needs. Also responsible for engaging in pre-sales activities to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and to ensure Equifax capabilities are fully and effectively leveraged.

What you’ll do

  • Consult with external customers to understand their business problem, propose Equifax products and services, document requirements, and design the technology solution

  • Educate external customers on Equifax APIs, including working with their technology teams to provide guidance around best practices for consuming Equifax data delivered through our APIs

  • Work across multiple teams to plan, schedule, and coordinate activities related to Equifax products and services; partnering with Development and QA resources to manage requirements, review for quality, and assist with delivery of completed solutions

  • Utilize creative problem solving to craft solutions for unique and complex problems, typically requiring conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions

  • Communicate complex, technical issues to a variety of audiences, including enterprise clients and experienced software developers/architects

  • Developing a deep understanding of Equifax data, technologies, products and platforms; and proactively supporting colleagues, both individually as well as via contribution to internal knowledge portals

  • Travel: 10% travel to various locations across the United States may be required

What experience you need 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer facing/consulting roles supporting external clients and proposing solutions as you work through customer pain points and changes

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a cloud environment and ability to integrate with APIs in design

What could set you apart

  • Knowledge and/or experience with consumer credit use cases.

  • Cloud computing knowledge with a Google Cloud Platform Foundational Certification

  • Experience designing and documenting business decisioning rules would be a plus

  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience and/or education

  • A strong background in IT, Business Analysis, or Product Owner experience
