As a Data Analytics leader, you will focus on solving client problems, driving business strategies and delivering powerful insights by leveraging advanced data analytics techniques. You will lead the team to identify the next growth opportunity and innovate on product development. You will also be responsible for managing a team of data analysts and engineers in driving the design and development of a host of innovative analytical solutions in the cloud environment. You’ll be based in St. Louis, Missouri as a key member of a growing Equifax Workforce Solutions’ Data and Analytics organization. 

What you’ll do 

  • Leadership - Manage a team of data analysts and engineers to deliver best-in-class analytical products and solutions 

  • Strategy - Leverage our unique data, analytical capabilities, and deep understanding of customer value chain to drive the next generation of data-driven products and services

  • Collaboration - Be a thought leader and work effectively with cross-functional teams; Co-innovate with customers and solve their unique problems 

  • New Capabilities - Accelerate the product development pipeline by identifying new use cases and applications of our data and analytic capabilities, generating proofs of concept, estimating market size, expected ROI, and working internally with product managers, technology, etc. to support implementation and go-to-market activities 

  • Execution - Take ownership of project planning, design and execution to ensure delivery of a high-quality and high-impact end product

What experience you need  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, or a comparable discipline

  • 7+ years of experience in big data analytics

  • Expertise in data management and statistical analysis

  • Experience in Python, R or related statistical packages

  • Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle undefined problems

What could set you apart

  • An advanced degree in operations research, industrial engineering, statistics, mathematics, economics or similar discipline

  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry, regulations, and the data applied in marketing, acquisition, underwriting, portfolio management, and debt management lifecycle

  • Prior customer facing analytical consulting experience

  • Ability to clearly present technical solutions to a non-technical audience
