What you will do:

The Segment Manager - New Vertical is responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing strategy and plan for their segments and verticals and works directly with their peers in the Marketing team – specifically there will be lots of collaboration with the B2B Marketing Managers, including sales and product teams.

Working closely with these teams is essential in order to reach into and penetrate other verticals that are key in supporting Equifax’s growth. From Insurance and Aged Care to Mortgage Brokerage and BNPL, the execution of sound marketing plans to optimise results within the segment is key. Helping Equifax to build, nurture and grow the customer base for their segment to maximise revenue and growth opportunities is the ethos for this role. By understanding everything from pain points and challenges to trends and talking points, this role will be responsible for better understanding our audiences and creating/developing custom GTM activities.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a candidate who has extensive experience in developing segment marketing plans and accompanying market maps to meet organisational short and long-term objectives around increasing revenue, profit, market share, retention, customer numbers and customer spend. With a track record in delivering tactical execution on all aspects of the marketing plan to support revenue targets. Along with;

  • 7+ years in marketing strategy, product marketing, business development, strategic marketing and/or management consulting

  • Excellent quantitative ability and financial modelling skills

  • Strong strategy, planning and execution ability

  • Ability to think laterally & creatively and articulate this verbally

  • Commercial focus with high standards of work

  • Superior knowledge of current design trends and techniques, and a strong online portfolio displaying user centred design & proficient knowledge of digital imaging and illustration

  • Demonstrated history on working on multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • High energy level - enthusiastic and self-motivated,  excited by new challenges
