What you will do:

The Senior Sales Leader reports to the GM of Sales – Corporate Accounts and is a key leadership role. The position has become available due to an internal move and is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic sales leader with good resilience who is comfortable with driving the sales force and themselves to achieve quarterly sales targets.

In this role you will create and drive a Strategic Segment plan to support achieving quarterly revenue targets, including market and competitor activity, product penetration – using sales campaigns, customer needs analysis and tactics to grow revenue generation.

You will possess a proven ability to coach, direct and drive success within the team. You should have experience in leading a team of Sales professionals that manage and own the relationship within the specific customer segment, driving a regular Sales Operating Rhythm incorporating regular pipeline, sales and account plan reviews.

This role comes with a generous and achievable incentive plan and is a rare opportunity to lead a diverse and successful portfolio. The role will require travel between states to ensure the sales teams in all states mentioned remain focused on meeting revenue growth and retaining and growing the customer base.

What are we looking for?

  • Extensive leadership roles in sales management in the financial services, professional services, and/or technology sectors (5-8 years)

  • Strong leadership track record of building and leading a sales team in a complex, highly competitive market and consistently meeting stretch revenue targets

  • Commercially astute – significant commercial business experience and knowledge in a competitive landscape.

  • The ability to work effectively across organisational units and geographic locations

  • Personal presence and strong influencing skills.

  • Proven track record in developing account penetration programs to deliver increased levels of cross/upsell

  • The ability to lead, motivate and energise people to co-operate and to perform well

  • Mature, well balanced and emotionally resilient

  • Ability to use their experience and provide wisdom, insight and energy

  • High levels of leadership competence demonstrated through leadership and development of high-performance culture and high-performance teams in previous roles

  • Exceptional personal customer relationship management skills and outstanding interpersonal and liaison skills with all levels of stakeholders

  • Extensive knowledge of the auto or financial services, credit and/or telecommunications sectors

  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present to C level customers
