The Director, Business Strategy will participate in the development of business unit growth strategies, as well as overseeing specific marketing plans and initiatives for the business unit. This includes understanding the competitive landscape, market dynamics and trends, voice of the customer and solution gaps, as well as opportunities for the respective markets. The Senior Director, Business Strategy will also be responsible for influencing the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) pipeline to continually understand and influence how the EWS business can expand and enhance strategic growth areas.  Subsequently developing integration strategies to leverage revenue synergies in existing and new markets.

This key role reports into the Vice President - Business Strategy and Innovation Leader and will work closely with the Vertical Marketing Leads, Marketing Leadership, D&A Leadership and Finance teams.  This role will be responsible for leading multiple strategic projects and initiatives on behalf of Marketing and the Business Unit Leadership Team.

What you’ll do 

  • Strategy Development:  Develop strategies to drive growth in core and adjacent areas for EWS

  • Develop integration strategies to leverage acquisition synergies across existing clients and lines of business

  • Strategic Planning:  Participate in the long-term strategic planning process for the Business Unit, including leading the Growth Playbook that addresses current year +3 planning

  • NPI:  Manage EWS NPI monthly reporting requirements, focusing on the four pillars

  • Mergers and Acquisitions Strategy:  Partner with the Marketing and Sales Leaders, to influence the M&A strategy and pipeline for the Business Unit, as well as influencing the partnership pipeline for the EWS Data Hub

What experience you need 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance

  • 10+ years business experience in Strategy, M&A and/or General Management

  • Developing, implementing and delivering growth strategies across multiple stakeholder teams

  • Strategic and innovative thinking with ability to develop and understand financial and economic scenarios

  • Experience developing effective working relationships with peers, managers, and senior management within and across organizational lines
