Equifax is hiring a Senior Negotiator ! In this role the senior negotiator will support sales executives by executing complex negotiations for key strategic client deals/contracts, and will utilize experience to develop overall negotiations strategies.

What you'll do:

  • Act as lead negotiator (client facing) directing large client contracts with revenues up to $10 million per year.

  • Develop and prepare contract documentation for pricing and business contractual terms and conditions for new client contracts, contract renewals and amendment of existing client contracts; will be the point-of-contact (POC) for contract documentation and redlines between Equifax and Client.

  • Project manage cross functional teams (Sales, Pricing, Legal, and Technology) in the development of complex offer development and client negotiations.  

  • Manage negotiation issues to closure, drive internal consensus on key client issues related to pricing, business and legal terms and conditions, and product customization as required to close the client opportunity.  

  • Provide contractual and business advice relating to contract terms and conditions; communicate contractual and business risks to senior/executive management.

Travel Requirement: up to 25%

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor Degree in business, finance, or related course of study

  • 7+ years of contract negotiation experience, in a sales or procurement role, developing, negotiating, and managing complex agreements, including contract strategies 

  • 5+ years' experience leading contract negotiations through the full contract lifecycle

  • 5+ years' experience managing multiple projects concurrently

Extra points for any of the following:

  • MBA or JD

  • Technology procurement experience

  • Background negotiating on behalf of Global Sourcing Organizations representing the customer/buyer side 

  • Knowledge and use of commercial contract management systems
