The Operations department manages the exchange of data between clients, 3rd party suppliers and governing bodies to improve debt liquidation maximise revenue returns and ensure the fair treatment of consumers in financial arrears. This includes reviewing and working queries, managing client service level agreements (SLA’s) and managing exception queues by using a host of bespoke systems designed for debt collection, insolvency management and debt sale support. You will work as part of a smaller energetic, dedicated and specialised team that feeds into the larger Operations department.

This is a fixed term opportunity up to 6 months to cover maternity leave.

What You’ll Do

  • Load, amend, maintain and delete consumer and commercial data using TDX databases
  • Analyse data information and apply knowledge to action as required
  • Adhere to quality control procedures when managing data and highlight any discrepancies or anomalies that are not fully aligned
  • Liaise as required with internal and/or external departments or customers in an engaged
  • Highlight and where appropriate escalate data issues that will ensure quality of data is maintained and not compromised
  • You will liaise with inter-departmental agents and their respective managers and/or Technology to progress resolution of issues (formatting/validation/errors)
  • Ensure full compliance of data protection and accuracy of input in line with QA protocols, training and instruction received

Qualifications

  • Intermediate experience of processing data
  • Good office administration and customer service experience
  • Good experience Microsoft Office/ Google packages
  • Good experience in a fast pace changing environment
  • Good verbal and written skills able to communicate at all levels

  • Awareness of the Data Protection Act and Financial Conduct Authority regulations
  • Successful experience of working within a quality metric driven environment
  • Experience in data loading via automated processes
