Equifax, a leader in product innovation, is seeking a Junior Level Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of risk across sectors such as Personal Lending, Auto, Alternative Finance, or Telecommunications.

This role will either be based out of our Atlanta, GA office in Midtown or in Alpharetta, GA and requires being in the office 3 days/week on Tues/Wed/Thurs.

As a Junior Level Product Manager, you will:
- Play a key role in product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle
- Gather and prioritize product and consumer requirements
- Assist in executing the product roadmap
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing solutions or implement new solutions

What You’ll Do:  

  • You will collaborate with stakeholders and explore new market opportunities, translating business goals into creative solutions. Your expertise will empower customer decisions by enabling access to data and insights. 

  • Support creation of business cases, product roadmaps, and product strategy 

  • Prepare for and support product releases

  • Tracking, monitoring and ensuring effective performance of the product including attainment of revenue and margin objectives

  • Work with design team, content writers, and legal and compliance to assist in the development and maintenance of proper product documentation

  • Providing descriptions and requirement definition for product development, understanding product trade-offs and driving alignment

  • Product lifecycle management 

  • Additional tasks as needed related to product management 

What experience you need:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in product management or consumer lending 

  • Ability to learn and efficiently use various software packages such as: G-suite, JIRA, Salesforce, Aha!, Confluence

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

What could set you apart:

  • Knowledge of attributes and/or consumer credit scores at a lender

  • Prior experience in financial services

  • Strong analytical capabilities and/or experience understanding technical flows  

  • Prior experience with FCRA regulated consumer data & analytics products

  • Knowledge and understanding in customer and user experience technology

  • Expertise collaborating with business-focused stakeholders to solve customer and market needs

  • Experience developing product roadmaps for data and/or technical solutions in a B2B environment 

  • An agile product mindset with a high level of intellectual curiosity

  • Motivation to become an expert in your product area in order to best serve business needs and create effective solutions
