Equifax is seeking a Technical Architect to significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions focused on our customers’ business needs. You are a problem solver who is highly motivated by designing solutions that amaze customers. As a Technical Architect at Equifax, you will design and plan technology solutions, alongside providing leadership and support to development teams. You excel at driving business value through technology and addressing technical issues and concerns.

What you will do

• You will establish an enterprise architecture to support a large technology transformation across existing applications and environments

• You understand overall vision and objectives and solve business problems using the right set of technical tools and processes

• You have the ability to work within pressurized environments whilst making critical decisions

• You understand various aspects of architecture practices: business, application, data, security, infrastructure and governance

• You can successfully work with Product Architects to define technical architecture for products

• You will be responsible for signs off on final design approaches

What experience you need

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics)

• 3+ years of experience developing and/or administering software in the public cloud,  including 8+  years overall relevant experience.

• 3+ years experience in languages such as Python, Bash, and/or Apache Beam

• At least 8+ years or more in Java

• 3+ years experience working with Spring frameworks like SpringBoot

• 3 year or more Experience with message driven application development (pub-sub, Kafka) and event driven microservice implementation

• Proven record 2 years or more in a cross team collaboration

• Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred ( GCP )

What could set you apart

• Master’s degree or relevant cloud certification

• Node js

• Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability to ensure functional and performance objectives.

• Proven experience in at least one major cloud platform (ideally GCP), including certification in relevant areas.

• Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles, including microservices, serverless computing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Extensive experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Hadoop).

• Strong experience with database technologies (relational and NoSQL) and data modeling principles.

• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).

• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance requirements.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• You have the ability to build good relationships with customers and coworkers

• You can gather and assimilate information

• You have good knowledge of quality standards, legislation and best practice

• You can adapt and prioritize

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions
