The Director of Data Furnisher Strategy on our USIS Team will be responsible for driving the data policy, strategy and data collection for Equifax’s USIS Consumer data exchanges.
This role will work across operations, technology, product management, compliance and legal to define Equifax’s Consumer exchange strategy and ensure adherence to guidelines for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
This a hands on individual contributor role that will be based ideally in our Alpharetta, Georgia or Atlanta, Georgia office 3 days/week.
What you’ll do

Develop & publish data management policies, guidelines and procedures in support of our Consumer data exchanges.

Create an operating model to efficiently and effectively manage the furnishing of assets meeting regulatory and legal obligations.

Manages a team of professionals who support our Consumer exchange data contribution relationships for the USIS line of business, including all consumer credit and specialty finance products.

Provides leadership and direction across business units as Subject Matter Expert for US Consumer data exchange.

Monitors market and industry dynamics / competitor dynamics. Proactively explain the strategy to “tell the story” for the Senior Leadership Team.

This role will define the policy, understand what the market is doing, define the purpose, how we will accept it. It's going to be a go to market play book for Buy Now Pay Later.
What experience you need
-
Bachelor's degree in related discipline required; Master's degree preferred; Equivalent experience will be considered.

7 years of analysis, product management, and/or consulting experience regarding data, including multiple areas of banking, retail credit or consumer credit reporting.

Experience documenting and communicating guidelines, standards, and frameworks.

Previous experience with Metro 2

Previous experience working as Data Exchange Manager, Data Acquisition & Strategy, Consumer Data Strategy, Entity Resolution or Strategic Data Sourcing & Strategy

Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including the regulatory landscape and consumer financial protection laws.

Previous experience working at Dunn & Bradstreet, Experian or LexisNexis
