The Wage Audit Specialist functions as the state expert for screening fraud and wage audits and responding to state documents for our clients. This position acts as a liaison between our customers and state unemployment agencies, and is responsible for analyzing and responding to unemployment-related documents within pre-determined time limits.
What you’ll do

Receive and prioritize fraud and wage audits and other unemployment related data.

Analyze individual case information by reviewing data accessed through the PC and respond to a state agency with all pertinent details within the time frame allowed by the state or departmental procedures.

Works as a team to ensure accurate and necessary information retrieved from customers is documented clearly and thoroughly into the database.

Ensures that work is accurate and complete, processed in a timely manner

Filing, photo copying, sorting and distribution of documents as they are received into their area; sorting, organizing, matching and distributing system-generated notices to the appropriate individual; matching system-generated letters to the appropriate state-issued document and distributing those documents to the appropriate individual; assisting with adding emailed information/documentation into the database; and, formatting proactive separation reports for loading into system
What experience you need

High school diploma or GED

Previous office experience with an emphasis on organization of work duties and performing job functions independently

Experience dealing with dated material and/or strict adherence to guidelines

Ability to handle a high volume of work and work under deadlines

Excellent analytical skills, problem solving and decision making abilities

Availability for 2-3 weeks of mandatory in-person training upon hire
What could set you apart
- Previous experience or familiarity with Unemployment Insurance and the Unemployment Claims process
- Previous office experience with an emphasis on customer service, organization of work duties and performing job functions independently
- Proficiency with Google or Microsoft Office PC applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
