Sales Insights Operations Analyst

We are looking for an individual motivated to join a high performing team in support of our sales execution for the USIS (US Information Solutions) business unit. The Sales Insights Operations Analyst would be responsible for the environment that manages our territory & quota for the sales team, the process that generates their performance results, monitoring the system for peak performance as well as creating and managing value add tools that increase end user confidence in their results. This role is pivotal in ensuring the sales team receives accurate, timely results for their performance!

This position is hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in office) and based in our One Atlantic Center office in midtown.

What you’ll do

Xactly Territory & Quota Platform (60% time allocation)

  • Responsibility to monitor and maintain USIS data integrity, monitor daily processes and troubleshoot failures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate data handoff, capture enhancement requests, assist in design process and testing of new enhancements in partnership with other BUs and the Xactly team
  • Responsible for maintaining quota data and serves as data and analysis lead for annual Target process
  • Responsible for monitoring the daily results crediting process, partnering on issues and maintenance of crediting rules. 
  • This role is what made comp results released in Q1 possible for the first time in history – this role is critical for ensuring that level of service to sales

Territory & Quota Case Management (30% of time allocation)

  • Requires in depth knowledge of Xactly data, finance data and sales compensation procedures
  • Responsibility to ensure sales operations cases in Salesforce are resolved in a timely manner
  • Escalation point for complex issues that require research, creative solutioning or partnering with other departments to solve issues
  • Primary point of coordination for exception research and finance case routing
  • Responsible for processing weekly credit files from finance, cleansing data, applying assignment intersections, resolving instructions for crediting and handing off to sales compensation team

Tableau Dashboarding (10% time allocation)

  • Requires in depth knowledge of Xactly data, USIS sales structure, customer data and Tableau expertise
  • Responsibility to build, maintain and enhance dashboards related to territory and customer
  • This role maintains datasets on a daily basis for territory and quota reporting to sales, SFDC account lookup with territory information utilized by cross-functional teams, customer revenue potential model and dashboarding
  • Responsible for distributing weekly Executive Dashboards for use of Sales Leaders and Finance teams


What experience you need 

  • 3-4 years experience in business, reporting, compensation and/or dashboard building
  • Bachelor Degree; Business, Finance or Statistical related degree preferred
  • Experience with platforms like Xactly, Tableau, Salesforce or similar platforms preferred - related certifications are a plus
  • Strong skills in Google Sheets/Excel
  • Experience with sales territory and quota processes strongly preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team in a matrixed environment
