Senior AVP - Sales NBFC

Synopsis of the role

Senior AVP – Sales (NBFC) will be responsible for Sales & Business Development for the NBFC vertical in Equifax. Will be responsible for primary direct customer/client contact to acquire new business or develop existing business and/or accounts. Closing sales of products and/or services in order to meet individual/team quotas and the organization’s business objectives. Operates as the primary point of contact to the customer or partner for the purpose of the sale by delivering sales presentations, developing bids, responding to proposals and negotiating final terms and contracts.

What you’ll do

  • Will be responsible for Sales, Business Development, New Logo Acquisition for Equifax.

  • Responsible for Consultative Solutions Sales, Relationship and Account Management.

  • Responsible to deals with moderately complex customer environments that often result in solutions requiring medium to long sales cycles.

  • Responsible to become an operational sales leader of professional level sales executives who perform as individual contributors in selling across a vertical, territory, region or country.

  • Responsible to executes against sales strategies by driving team success and is held accountable for the results of the team.

  • Getting New clients and implementation of Share of Wallet strategy.

  • Lead by example along with exceptional supervisory management skills

  • Responsible for selection, development and retention of driven sales team of professionals.

  • Manages professional employees and/or supervisors focused on a narrow range of work within a function.

  • Responsible for the performance and results of the team.

  • Responsible to Identify and resolve technical, operational and/or organization problems.

  • Responsible to make decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from manager.

  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships.

  • Responsible to develop plans and coordinate with resources to meet operational objectives within area of responsibility.

  • Motivate the sales teams to achieve their goals.

  • Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Provide detailed sales forecasting, set quarterly and annual sales goals.

What experience you need

  • 1. Overall experience of 16+ years in sales with exposure to BFSI industry 2. Experience in Bureau or its affiliated partners will be given preference 3. Should have exposure to B2B sales in the recent experiences 4. Should have led a successful team management role for the last 6 to 8 years with minimal attrition 5. Fluency in local languages is pre-requisite 6. Should have a proven track record of exceeding targets yoy 7. Should hold minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an MBA degre

  • Should have a flair for direct account management by understanding client’s business requirements and providing Equifax solutions

  • Ability to confidently represent Equifax and be a brand ambassador for Equifax

  • Believe in solutions provided by Equifax and convert them into high percentage of successful sale

  • Knowledge of best sales practices and methods.

  • Demonstrated ability to increase sales and penetrate newer markets.

  • Ability to negotiate and bring deals to closure.
