What you’ll do
The Site Reliability Engineer is accountable for the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning of their service(s). The role is accountable for building highly scalable, secure and compliant environments for apps and platforms, whilst keeping run costs optimised.
Equifax is currently going through a major transformation as we migrate onto the GCP. This position will be part integral to our transformation, developing new cloud platforms, you will become a key member in a group of subject matter experts. The role will also provide system support and incident management and on development activities supporting the build of new features, with automation (almost a 50-50 split in terms of time). A key objective of the role is to reduce manual toil.
What experience do you need?

Minimum of 3 years working experience on GCP or AWS cloud resources

Hands-on experience in kubernetes e.g. EKS or GKE

Experience in Infrastructure as code, e.g. Terraform

Experience in Containerization e.g. docker, docker compose.

Experience with Git, CI/CD tooling e.g. Bitbucket, Jenkins etc

Experience in Unix/Linux and Bash scripting.

Having previous development is a plus.

Experience in monitoring tools such as datadog, appdynamics is a plus
