Equifax is seeking a bright, determined Senior Director, Product Management to lead a team of technical product managers in a dynamic environment, ensuring our product capabilities and roadmap meet our business and technology needs. What you’ll do

  • You will collaborate with stakeholders and explore new market opportunities, translating business goals into creative solutions. Your expertise will empower customer decisions by enabling access to data and insights.

  • Empower your team of product managers, providing coaching and direction to ensure success of the team and portfolio

  • Drive execution of market analysis, sizing and validation through review and testing of concepts leveraging VOC, customer advisory boards and other external engagements

  • Drive execution of strategic priorities, product definition and identification of new opportunities

  • Oversee and provide input into the creation of product roadmaps

  • Design objectives through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for team

  • Drive Build, Buy, Partner approach and decisions for products within purview

  • Collaborate with product development management on the product development process and technical resource allocation.

  • Represent insights and findings to drive product development and lifecycle management decisions

  • Lead efforts to maintain awareness of and champion on-going sustained competitive differentiation

What experience you need  (7 or less requirements recommended)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience 

  • 7+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner or Business Analyst with state-of-the art software systems

  • 5+ years experience working with Agile development methodologies including extensive user story definition and writing 

  • 5+ years of experience working with large development teams with multiple scrum teams and development interdependencies

  • 3+ years of direct line management responsibilities and experience

What could set you apart

  • Strong experience as a technical product owner within an agile environment.

  • Strong understanding of product requirements and business analysis.

  • Strong experience of systems development life cycle, specifically solution design, analysis, architecture and design.

  • Intermediate understanding of APIs, web services, user interfaces, batch processing, and other enterprise systems.

  • Intermediate understanding of cloud technologies, preferably with GCP or AWS.

  • Good stakeholder management to lead on and ensure delivery.

  • Good experience of managing multiple small/medium sized projects.

  • Outstanding leadership and motivational skills, possessing a willingness to empower as well as inspire commitment and positive attitude in the team.

  • Innovative mindset, with the ability to influence stakeholders to adopt new visions for new or existing software solutions.

  • Flexibility to manage time zone differences with international teams.

  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders

  • A real passion for and the ability to learn new technologies

  • Experience within a regulated business or financial services

  • An understanding of Cloud technologies, preferably GCP
