VP, Marketing

We are looking to hire a VP of Marketing in our Boise, Idaho office who will be responsible for developing and leading marketing strategies, coordinating product, pricing, M&A, branding and communication strategies with comprehensive sales support.  

This role will also be responsible for fostering commitment and motivation of account executives through the sales incentive program and provide various tools to improve the sales commission plan and expectations of revenue growth. Evaluate and analyze growth potential of the company, geared to the purchase of new businesses that strengthen maturing verticals.

Develop branding and communications strategy to maintain loyalty of top accounts and new accounts-based on branding guidelines. Use new technologies to leverage the strategy. Grow the organization, working closely with business and sales areas to reinforce the idea of full customer focus.

What you’ll do

  • Provide overall strategy and direction for all marketing segments including content/communications, growth marketing and product marketing and drive the achievement of defined revenue goals.

  • Analyze competition, industry, and market trends with the ability to translate research findings into actionable tasks consistent with the marketing & product strategic plan.

  • Develop policies, programs, and objectives for all product and service marketing activities for EDS

  • Lead Market research, product planning and advertising functions to accomplish organization objectives

  • Define and execute the brand strategy including content and metrics to provide competitive advantage, differentiation, enhanced perception and reinforce the reputation as a global leader.

  • Define an integrated, multi-channel go-to-market strategy that drives both brand awareness and revenues. 

  • Execute customer acquisition and brand campaigns, with enhancement and refinement as appropriate based on observed channel performance and returns on marketing investment (ROMI).

What experience you need 

  • Ten+ years of senior marketing leadership experience leading a B2B marketing organization, preferably in SAAS business, information services, fintech or financial services business.

  • 5 or more experience in the following areas: product marketing and development, public relations, brand, communications, demand generation, lead generation and advanced analytics

  • 5 or more years of past Management experience leading, coaching and guiding a team

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Being a dynamic leader, who can easily toggle between the macro and micro; one moment working on strategy and the next leading the execution of a complex product marketing rollout. 

  • Being a superb strategist and collaborator, the ideal candidate excels at delivering a world-class customer experience. 

  • Balanced with both effective strategic visioning skills and effective hands-on operational/execution skills. Ability to develop and execute growth strategies with ease.

  • Master’s Degree or MBA.
