We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager in North Metro Atlanta, GA to own one or more global delivery channels for Equifax’s integration products. This key individual will demonstrate strong skills in transforming stakeholder desires into technical solutions, a deep understanding of cloud and integration technologies, and the ability to plan and prioritize execution to maximize business value.

  • As a Senior Product Manager at Equifax, you will provide the technical thought leadership to the product team, bridging the gap between idea and delivery, advancing technologies/concepts and seeking cross business unit collaboration on solutions. You will develop a delivery solution that will allow Equifax teams across the globe to deploy new products and onboard new customers in a rapidly, safe, and scalable manner.

  • You will partner with your peers across Equifax to help define product strategy, working closely with business stakeholders and engineering leaders. You will clearly set the product prioritization with a balance of near-term deliverables and longer-term strategic platform investments.

  • You will also regularly assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and make trade-offs by balancing business needs against constraints. Your passion, drive, and intellect will encourage thoughtful collaboration that maximizes value for customers and benefits the enterprise.

  • In this position, you will play a lead role in refining the product strategy across our different business units. The successful candidate will have strong collaborative skills, be able to influence, have strong technical skills, work effectively in a matrixed organization, and be able to successfully partner with project managers, product managers, and delivery leaders in different organizations.

What you'll do

  • Interact with executive leadership, engineering, product management and multiple global stakeholder teams to define, prioritize and deliver complex services and products.

  • Work with key stakeholders in product management and executive teams to define and develop global product strategies that enable and drive innovation and go-to-market efficiency.

  • Develop a long-term product strategy and roadmap for specific platform capabilities.

  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

  • Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels and maximize resources for the greater good of our internal and external customers.

  • Evaluate operational, service, and performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement – including best practice research and presentation.

  • Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change control.

  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with varied priorities.

  • Execute on several projects concurrently while balancing shifting priorities.

  • Own product commitments and address business unit dependencies.

  • Work closely with product management, engineering teams and business leaders to ensure the right priorities, roadmaps and deliverables.

  • Play a key role in the development and advancement of strategy and priorities.

Experience you will need

  • 5+ years managing cross-functional technology products, projects or programs.

  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders without having a formal reporting relationship.

  • Technical fluency; comfort discussing or diving deep on technology concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members; understanding of the entire technology stack.

  • Experience with integration technologies. An Ideal candidate would understand APIs, pub/sub, webhooks, event streaming, batch processing, and file transfer.

  • Experience with handling sensitive data, including data classification, security, encryption, and de-identification.

  • Advanced understanding of cloud architecture, including DNS, routing, WAFs, load balancers, HA/DR models, etc.

  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to rationalize product features.

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives/priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Working knowledge of standard SDLC processes in an Agile framework.

  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with peers, managers, and senior management within and across organizational lines.

  • Experience working directly with customers, technology vendors and business partners.

  • Comfortable presenting to an executive audience and commanding large, diverse cross-functional teams in a composed, poised and professional demeanor.

  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

  • Experience with queueing, data pipelines, or data as a service.

  • Advanced education or certification in cloud technologies or product management.
