Senior DevOps Engineer - GCP Expert

What you’ll do

• You will  be able to support a 24X7 support model on a rotation basis.

• You will  have good communication skills to work across the teams to resolve the issues and provide RCA

• You  would be responsible for finding and applying On-demand / monthly / quarterly patches.

• You  would be able to develop, maintain and support existing and new automation 

What experience you need  

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent job experience required

• 5 -7+  years hands on experience on DevOps on GCP Cloud 

• Must have hands on working experience on GCP services such as GKE, PubSub, DataProc, DataFlow, BigQuery, API Gateway, Cloud Composer, Cloud DNS, Compute Engine etc,

• Must have Hands-On working experience on Terraform , Ansible, Groovy,  Python ( BOTO ), Shell scripting etc.

• Must have Hands-on working experience on Jenkins Job, Pipeline creation, Configuration and Management

• Must have Hands-on working experience on Linux Systems , Kernel Upgrade etc

• Must have Hands-On working experience on TLS/SSL , Certificate rotation , using keystore , openSSL etc. 

• Must have hands-on experience on code build tools such as ANT and Maven etc.

• Must be proficient in managing micro and macro Github Repos as well as administration expertise in Git commands and branching methodology

• Must have managing Medium to large scale Microservices implementations, management and automation experience to deploy on ECS/EKS clusters

• Must have deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes understanding and medium to large scale implementation and support experience.

• Good to have understanding on Cloud Cost Optimization.

• Good to have security agents understanding.

• Good to have Windows system Administration experience

• Good to have Powershell Scripts working experience

• Good to have Oracle DB exposure and supporting large scale Oracle DB implementations

• Good to have Apache Airflow , Apache Spark , Apache Hadoop etc open source or equivalent AWS services technologies exposure

• Good to have exposure to Grafana , Prometheus, Datadog, AppD, Peger Duty etc for monitoring and observability
