Lead Oracle Apps DBA

What you’ll do

• Designs, creates and maintains databases in a client/server environment

• Works on more complex, larger and higher importance/impact databases and projects

• Lead database development projects and advise management and users on new or optimal technologies or methods to frequently improve the functionality and/or efficiency of the organization's databases

• Will coach, train and mentor junior team members

• Implement, enforce and adhere to Disaster Recovery plan for platforms

• Manage EBS instances on the Oracle Public Cloud

• Ensure database standards and controls are maintained

• Install, patch, upgrade, configure, tune and maintain the Oracle E-business Suite R12.2 and 19C Oracle databases

• Serve as day-to-day technical lead for developers enhancements or problem resolutions. Analyze, design, develop, test and implement application enhancements

• Deploy code and setup changes to production

• Analyze performance issues in the application, concurrent manager and database tiers of E-Business Suite installationsManage resources to provide assistance to development teams with tuning database queries, reviewing and testing patches, configuration and code migrations.Develop purging, archiving, and cloning strategie

What experience you need

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent job experience required

• 7+ year  experience in Administration and Management of Oracle EBS R12 as Apps DBA

• Resource must be having hands on experience managing R12.2/ Oracle Database 19C/Oracle Single Sign On (SSO), Oracle iRec (iReceivables), WebLogic Administration, Oracle OBIEE WL Admin, Oracle WCI Administration, Oracle 19C core DBA exp, Managing day to day AWS Infrastructure exp for all Oracle Databases.

• Single node & Multi Node cloning of Oracle Apps Instances in Normal and Shared Appltop Architecture

• Update DBA Processes/Standards and documents (DBA Run book, Cloning, Upgrades, Issues/Resolutions )

• Monitor and troubleshoot Concurrent Manager Problems, Performance, Errors

• Plan, enhance and execute database monitoring and alerts

• Oracle ADOP Patching, Cloning Single and Multi Node/iRec nodes

• Setting up LBR for multi nodes

• Configuring TLS/SSL on all oracle products (DB and APP)

• Handling and Fixing Security Vulnerability on a daily basis

• Quarterly Password rotation and Applying PSU patches

• Ability to develop SQL and PL/SQL scripts

• Oracle E-business R12.2 application with IDM-SSO and iRec setup/configurations
