Equifax is searching for a Product Analyst to join our Global Product organization.  This position will report to the Senior Director, Global Product Management.  This team drives the product roadmaps for Equifax’s flagship decisioning solutions. These platforms enable business units to create products and solutions for end customers. 

 

What you’ll do

  • Analyze current and future markets, technology and competitive trends to support strategy and product development. Support sales teams by providing current information on product developments and competitive market positioning.

  • Work with stakeholders and technology teams to break high level features into acceptance criteria on a regular basis.

  • Participate in developing product and product line strategies, directions and recommendations as input to the overall company planning process.

  • Provide business planning guidance and counsel to senior management to support overall company objectives and communicate with other internal groups including engineering, international stakeholders and delivery teams regarding new product enhancements.

  • Develop and maintain a backlog of product features based on global market needs and influence prioritization decisions on a quarterly basis.

  • Own the product roadmap for some tools and services that are part of the InterConnect platform.

  • Participate in product strategy and planning sessions to increase knowledge of business cases and product roadmap creation.

  • Monitor product adoption and use, and collect customer feedback.

  • Track and monitor product performance including revenue and margin for the products supported.

  • Support product lifecycle management including enhancements and sunsetting.

  • Conduct product demos for internal teams and for clients when needed.

 

 What experience you need 

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in a product management or a product owner role.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience translating customer business needs into product roadmap features and ability to rationalize product features.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working directly with customers, technology vendors and/or business partners.

  • Understanding of APIs, GCP, or AWS cloud services.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience conducting technology product demos to clients.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

What could set you apart

  • Strong technical skills preferred, to be able to break business requirements down to a technical level.

  • Experience developing effective working relationships with peers, managers, and senior management within and across organizational lines.

  • Understanding of Big Data technologies. 

  • Experience with decisioning platforms, and / or large scale data platforms.

  • Experience working on UI products and tools.

  • Experience using BI tools and other analytical tools.

  • Experience working in an agile environment.

  • Desire to build awesome products.
