Are you ready to be part of our Java Tech team? As a Java Technical Lead at Equifax, you will work as a catalyst on high priority initiatives, developing new products, supporting technology operations while maintaining exemplary standards. You will collaborate within a team responsible for technical vision and development of our enterprise applications.
What you’ll do
-
Develop strategic design and requirements on small systems or modules of large systems (large scale).

Guide and mentor junior developers in developing code and workflow procedures, and conduct code reviews.

Perform general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to development environment and technical documentation.

Work independently to support software through the entire software development life cycle.

Work on one or more projects, making contributions to unfamiliar code written by team members.

Diagnose and resolve performance issues.
-
Participate in estimation process, use case specifications, reviews of test plans and test cases, requirements, and project planning.

Documents code/processes so that any other developer is able to dive in with minimal effort. Introduces tools and automates repetitive processes.
What experience you need:
-
At least 3-5 years of commercial Java experience.
-
Project delivery working on Java applications.
-
Java technologies such as Spring (Boot, Core, MVC) and Hibernate.

Apache Beam and Apache Airflow.
-
You have familiarity with design and architectural patterns, with an understanding of Web Services, micro service architectures and REST Based APIs.

“Full-stack” development experience.

You have experience with Cloud application development, especially GCP and/or AWS.

You have knowledge of Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD), DevOps practices and familiarity with tools such as Jenkins.
