We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to join us as our new Business Development Manager as part of our growing Debt Services Sales team based in Nottingham. This is a new and exciting opportunity for you to drive new business sales in a fast expanding market where we are a market leader.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to exceed their target and be awarded through a generous compensation package which includes multipliers and a car allowance.
Reporting to and supported by the private sector Head of Client Acquisition, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing new prospects from new business development, networking, and attending events to support the end to end sales process from first engagement to negotiation and closing.

What you’ll do
-
Identify and qualify new opportunities through outbound sales, inbound enquiries, networking, use of social media and industry events

Deliver client presentations and demos on our market leading Debt Services solutions

Work with pre-sales and commercial teams to create winning proposals

Negotiate and close multi million pound contracts

Manage sales pipeline and forecasting

Collaborate with peers across the wider Equifax Sales Team in order to drive new clients through pipeline to close

Feed in insight from the industry to help shape the sales and go to market strategy
What experience you need
-
Previous B2B sales experience in software or data; preferably in financial services

Experience in consultative sales and closing 6 figure deals

Good experience in engagement and relationship management

Strong track record of exceeding / meeting revenue targets in excess of £250k

Strong ability to manage own workload efficiently and meet deadlines

Excellent communication skills

Experience presenting to a audience up to an executive level

Experience of pipeline management within a CRM
