The candidate is responsible for all aspects of application development throughout the DataQA SDLC Agile process and Release Train acting as a liaison between the business and the technology teams to help analyze, drive and develop solutions. Will act as a subject matter expert to the business and users to effectively transform the business, user and technical requirements into the desired application solution.
What you will do

Leads large and highly complex projects. Works closely with team members, clients, and other stakeholders in analyzing, documenting, reviewing, communicating and developing solutions defined by the business requirements.

Support internal business partners by providing reports, statistics, documentation, running queries etc. for audits supporting external customer requests and data quality deliverables.

Understand and document business rules, practices, procedures, and processes by analyzing and interpreting code

Create functional flows, follow technical specifications, user Interface examples, use cases, samples and prototypes for development projects

Maintains a deep awareness of how business operations work to help key stakeholders explore technology possibilities to more effectively execute.

Act as Project Manager to ensure estimation, budget tracking, development, testing, and certification are completed within designated timelines and track/communicate progress/status to all levels of the organization

Responsible for maintaining and tracking assigned sprint deliverables, JIRA user stories, AHA boards etc.

Work closely with the QE team to verify unit test case planning and execution meets all requirements and all defects are resolved prior to project or product release including UAT.

Take initiative without close direction. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, manage time and multi-task.

As a member of a cross-functional team, an understanding of clients (both internal and external) and teamwork are essential. Above all, enthusiasm, the ability to quickly learn new technology, and a willingness to own responsibility will be critical to success in this position.

Exceptional attention to detail, and a burning desire to make analysis and specifications precise.

Works closely with all Legacy and Transformation Business Partners and Pipeline teams.
What experience you need

Minimum 5-7 years of successful work experience as C/C++ software engineer/developer

Knowledge of SQL, Unix, C++ and PERL beneficial

Linux,C/C++/Pro *C/Perl, Unix, Oracle, Shell Scripting, SQL, MS-Access, SQL Developer, Dbx, Purify, SVN Configuration Management, Web Services and STL, Greenplum, Ruby, BitBucket, Jenkins, Chef, Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, Sharepoint, Fortify

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
