The Associate Manager, Learning and Development shall be responsible for managing the L&D function in alignment with the Global CoE. S/He shall plan, develop, recommend and implements new and revised learning programs and policies to align with the company’s goals and competitive practices.
S/He shall work closely with business in identifying needs / gaps and lead the function in developing and implementing learning strategies and programs. This position is also responsible for devising learning curriculum for early career stream particularly for fresh graduates.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position manages employees on the learning team across locations. At a high level this position
shall be responsible for the learning outcomes across the organization.
What you’ll do

Evaluate individual and organizational development needs

Create and execute learning strategies and programs

Develop a strong understanding of the organization’s objectives and create learning and
-
development programs aligned to the larger objectives.

Develop a full understanding of the various business units and their specific learning needs
-
Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, classroom / online training etc.)
-
Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings
-
Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
-
Help managers develop their team members through addressing performance / skill gaps, upskilling / cross skilling and assist in career path decisioning

Manage the company’s internal learning platform and third part tool utilization

Manage learning budgets, ROIs and MIS

What experience you need
-
Bachelor’s in Engineering with an MBA (HR) from a premier institute, Professional certifications / affiliations in L&D space is a plus
-
10 – 12 years’ experience in L&D roles
-
Extensive experience in effective learning and development methodologies
-
Experience with e-learning platforms and practices
-
Experience in project management and budgeting
-
Proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS)
-
Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen

Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors

Proficient in MS Office, G-Suite and Project Management Tools
