What you’ll do
-
Lead the engineers within a squad in the development, testing, deployment of new applications per given business requirements

Hands on development, including automated testing, code deployment, and technical documentation.

Lead, or participate in, requirements elaboration and estimation, technical designs, project planning, and other activities related to the software development lifecycle

Identify and implement improvements as part of a culture to continuously improve
-
Provide technical guidance, supervise others, provide instructions, and debug code written by team members.

Guide and mentor junior developers in developing code and workflow procedures, and conduct code reviews
What experience you need
-
BS or MS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience
-
Extensive experience in Java development
-
Good experience working with Cloud technologies
-
Good experience working within an agile delivery environment
-
Good detailed knowledge of modern software development lifecycles and practices including CI / CD
What could set you apart

Cloud experience, in particular Google Cloud Platform
-
You’ve built software or maintained systems in a highly secure, regulated or compliant industry
-
Source code control management systems (e.g. GitHub) and build tools like Maven
-
Working with Big Data technologies
-
Linux command line and shell scripting languages
-
Atlassian tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket)
-
Experience working with open source frameworks; preferably Spring, Micronaut.

Automated Testing: JUnit, Selenium, Karate
