Fraud Monitoring Manager


The USIS Fraud Monitoring Manager is responsible for leading the team which monitors, analyzes and investigates interactions to detect fraudulent access or attempted access to Equifax consumer facing systems in near real-time. One of the primary purposes of this position is to execute on strategic fraud prevention and detection solutions to minimize risk and exposure of Equifax data. This function is a critical line of defense for Equifax and integral to business goals.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage an international team with flexibility to work in various geographic time zones in order to perform weekly meetings, monthly one on ones and provide additional support as needed

  • Develop, implement and maintain processes and guides that are aligned with industry best practices

  • Establish a means of reporting relevant findings to leadership in a clear and concise manner

  • Conduct quality and compliance reviews of transaction monitoring and investigative actions

  • Work with key leaders in Global Security and business stakeholders on key tasks and special projects related to process and system changes focused on fraud prevention and detection

  • Analyze and provide ongoing recommendations and results of current high risk behaviors and alerts as changes occur, so that security reports can be modified or developed to continue to encompass risky behaviors. 

What experience you need 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience

  • 3+ years of fraud investigation or related fraud/security experience

  • 4+ years of team leadership experience 

  • 1+ year of experience working in a SOC (security operations center)

  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certification

  • Membership to the ACFE 

  • Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Understanding of data and systems to deliver results that can be actioned
