The Security Analyst will ensure compliance with all government regulations in all markets where the company operates, and compliance with company operating standards regarding information security, data protection and data privacy. Provide global assessment, design, development, delivery and monitoring of security related to the company's assets. Execute global strategy surrounding security architecture, policies, standards, guidelines, awareness and procedures to ensure the protection and compliance of information processed, stored and transmitted. Ensure a risk based and balanced approach to security and ownership for the implementation of best practices across the enterprise.

What you’ll do

  • Perform security risk assessments across the EWS product portfolio

  • Identify applicable regulatory requirements for data protection.

  • Identify information assets to be protected by security controls.

  • Provide oversight and guidance to junior staff and engineering partners

  • Determine scope of systems, applications, and third parties to be evaluated.

  • Lead small to mid-sized security efforts as needed to increase maturity of the information security program or address security needs across the business unit

  • Assist engineering partners in achieving compliance requirements for solution efforts, including guidance in evidence collection and process flows

  • Facilitate resolution of security issues and questions through coordination with specific stakeholders and relevant experts

  • Evaluate and advise on policy exceptions for the assigned area

  • Engage in change management reviews, incident response calls and activities, business resilience exercises as needed.

  • Assist in managing and responding to incidents

What experience you need 

  • 3+ years engaged directly in software engineering activities with a solid understanding of SDLC practices including code development, system design, continuous integration and deployment practices and product support.

  • 3 examples of guiding change into a development project, process or organization behavior

  • 3+ years of direct security experience related to software development, vulnerability management, security improvement and implementation of security programs and policies

  • In-depth knowledge and experience needed to operate independently with limited guidance and oversight

  • Ability to apply a new perspective on existing solutions to solve complex problems

  • Aptitude to make decisions within guidelines and policies that impact a range of customer, operational, process, or project activities

  • Experience developing work plans for short-term assignments of moderate complexity
