Reporting into the Tax Manager, you will be preparing workbooks for various APAC tax compliance tasks, and ensuring the obligations are met by the deadlines, while performing tax effective accounting and account reconciliations by undertaking research and providing written advice on transaction tax implementation and memos as and when required. The tax coverage includes income tax, GST, FBT and transfer pricing across ANZ and Singapore.

You will also be collaborating with the wider finance team and wider business

reviewing internal tax processes and recommending / implementing improvements. Building relationships with external tax advisers, auditors and tax authorities and general ad hoc tasks as required.

What you will do

  • Income tax, GST, FBT and transfer pricing across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. 

  • Preparing workbooks for various local tax compliance tasks, and ensuring the obligations are met by the deadlines. 

  • Perform tax effective accounting.

  • Preparate account reconciliations. 

  • Maintaining sufficient documentations.

  • Undertake research and provide written advice and memos as and when required.

  • Reviewing internal tax processes and recommending / implementing improvements.

  • Collaborate with the Finance Team and wider business. 

What experience you need 

  •  Tertiary qualifications in related discipline. i.e. commerce, accounting, law

  • Minimum 2 years tax experience within a medium to large organization

  • In depth knowledge of corporate tax reporting requirements including income tax, FBT, WHT and GST

  • Awareness and understanding of relevant legislation and rulings processes

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Big 4 tax experience (consultant or senior consultant level), preferably in income tax, GST or transfer pricing
