Equifax is consistently growing and we are adding a dynamic player to the Legal Customer Transactions Team supporting US Information Systems. As Assistant General Counsel you will manager complex sales transactions by drafting, negotiating, identifying issues, and partnering with stakeholders on the execution of a variety outbound sales contracts for financial services data products.

What You'll Do:

  • Consult with USIS leaders, sales, and other stakeholders on customer facing transactions within the standard Equifax business and risk framework

  • Concisely communicates the identification of issues and solutions to stakeholders and customers

  • Execute drafting and negotiation of complex customer facing commercial agreements, including master services agreements, statements of work, licenses, non-disclosure agreements, and other supporting documents

  • Manage competing priorities and to multi-task in a fast paced, demanding environment

  • Consistently demonstrates ability to exercise sound, practical business judgment while working autonomously

  • Proactively conceptualizes and articulates pragmatic/creative legal and business solutions to complex legal and business challenges

  • Works cross-functionally on projects and initiatives to promote continuous improvement of Legal service delivery within EFX

What You Need:

  • Law degree from ABA accredited law school and membership in good standing of any state bar; State Bar of Georgia is preferred

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

What Could Set You Apart:

  • Experience working in data, analytics, professional services, technology or financial services industries

  • Prior experience work in a large firm and/or corporation
