Equifax is seeking to augment its Sales team in the capacity of Business development Managers for the Fintech domain. The candidate will report to the Fintech CoE lead, India. The role would be responsible for achieving the
Sales strategies, tactics and plans to accomplish our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives in the Fintech domain.

What you’ll do


The role entails business development for Equifax across all its product and service lines to leading Fintechs across the region. The candidate will be responsible for


- Identification of clients and stakeholders to reach out to through constant research
- Organizing and conducting meetings with senior stakeholders including founders and CEOs
- Comprehending client requirements thoroughly and providing them with the right solutions
- Develop trusted relationships and proposing solutions on an ongoing basis to help them meet their objectives
- Ensure clients do not turn to competition
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to clients in a timely manner
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
- Regularly monitor services provided, invoices raised, payments etc.

What experience you need 


- Education – Engineer and MBA
- Understanding of start-up and Fintech landscape in India and keen interest in the domain
- Understanding of key banking processes within Banks & Financial institutions (for e.g. retail lending process, risk and collections, or marketing & acquisition related processes), broad understanding of analytics and technologies used in Financial institutions
- Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in a bank and/or financial services institution/ Fintech and/or IT software / solutions organization
- Proven experience in business development in B2B sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
- Graduate and Post Graduate from premier institute
