The Solutions Manager provides support and/or subject matter expertise to the sales function during all phases of the sales cycle (lead generation, assessment of client’s needs, solutions design, proposal preparation, products/solutions presentations/training and client support and relationship management throughout solution delivery/implementation). This role may also be involved in operational areas such as quota management, RFP response, account support, sales effectiveness and reporting.

What you’ll do

  • Manage a team of Solution Specialists responsible for serving as SPOCs for certain identified EFX Domain solutions during the pre-Sales/Sales process steps.

  • Drive the execution of solution specialist goals and objectives; Provide guidance and coaching to ensure the team can effectively present/validate use cases, demos and customer scenarios for which covered domain solutions are uniquely suited; Ensure the team can effectively demonstrate ROI, value and competitive advantages of identified solutions.

  • Model capabilities of Active Listening and Business Partnership and Consulting for STO pre-sales and sales resources to ensure they effectively hold the right conversations at the right time with their customers.

  • Oversee the development of complex proposals, provide strategic input to the ATO resources during negotiation process and facilitate successful wins that develop into long-term business relationships.

  • Leverage and share domain knowledge across the team, ensuring learning and understanding of solution capabilities and issues they address, as well as critical market segment and trend knowledge and continued learning.

  • Stay abreast of competitor activity to drive team's understanding and ability to position EFX as a strategic and advantageous partner and competitive market leader.

  • Mentor, coach and develop ATO resources to effectively identify and qualify opportunities and leads • Stay abreast of customer success manager activity to drive continued relationships with customers.

  • Travel up to 25% required for customer, prospect and partner meetings, team meetings, industry events and conferences.

Location: Remote anywhere in the continental US

What experience you need 

  • 7+ years of experience working in the mortgage industry with an intrinsic knowledge of the mortgage value chain (including, but not limited to tri-merge credit, mortgage marketing, account management,  mortgage underwriting, and capital markets).

What could set you apart

  • Familiarity with the mortgage secondary market (i.e. basic knowledge of mortgage capital market systems).

  • Experience in relationship management and sales with a clear and proven ability to communicate and build relationships with both senior level mortgage executives and front line employees (i.e. Mortgage Underwriters, Processors, Loan Originators, and Closers).

  • Experience creating and delivering effective executive level presentations.

  • Demonstrate confidence in manipulating large amounts of data to clearly communicate the value of the Mortgage solutions to Equifax’s clients.

  • Strong collaboration skills with ability to partner with sales, product management, marketing, operations, and other internal centers of excellence.
