Technical Lead - Site Reliability

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer Technical Lead to join our global team, supporting our development efforts for our Collections Alliance. You will be focusing on building globally reliable and scalable microservices, infrastructure and operations components. 

You will get the opportunity to work on a variety of new areas within the project including Cloud migration and integration with core Equifax services. You will get the opportunity to work in a  multi cloud domain and provide technical direction for this 

What you’ll do 

As a technical lead you will be guiding and mentoring a team of engineers in developing code and workflow procedures, and conducting code reviews, as well as the following;

  • As needed, serving as a technical architect and assisting in design, implementation and documentation of development of product infrastructure

  • Inspire and lead the team to build cutting-edge solutions and proactively bringing new ideas, technologies, and methodologies to the table

  • Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews

  • Build out new infrastructure using IAC practices 

  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health

  • Manage CICD Pipelines

  • Be tasked with creating new tools and scripts designed for auto-remediation of incidents and will be responsible for establishing end-to-end monitoring and alerting on all critical aspects

  • Lead development of automation for both public cloud resources

What experience you need 

  • Strong experience developing and/or administering software in a cloud based environment 

  • Good experience managing Infrastructure as code via Terraform

  • Good experience with Docker and Jenkins
