Senior Scrum Master

Equifax has a career opportunity for a Scrum Master within the Finance organization of its Workforce Solutions (EWS) business unit.  If you are passionate about agile and seek out new challenges, we want to hear from you!

The Scrum Master position reports to the Senior Scrum Master and will optimize the performance and solution delivery of several co-located teams.  Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this highly visible role, as the Scrum Master will engage with business stakeholders and a growing team of financial analysts to drive new revenue growth through development of innovative, data-driven insights and solutions.

The Finance team has recently transitioned into an agile operating model and continues to implement best practices giving this opportunity a chance to influence and grow the program.

What You'll Do:

  • Guide and coach the team on agile principles and practices

  • Improve transparency within the team and broader organization

  • Facilitate program increment planning sessions

  • Lead estimation, planning, and backlog grooming/refinement

  • Help define user stories

  • Organize and lead sprint planning, sprint execution, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives

  • Surface risks, dependencies, and issues

  • Ensure deliverables are completed with optimum velocity

  • Deliver schedule reporting to financial management team, including SFO

What Experience You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s 4-yr BS/BA degree

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification

  • 4-6+ years agile delivery experience

What Could Set You Apart:

  • Preferred knowledge in JIRA, Aha! or other project management tools 

  • Advanced use of Excel & Google Suite

  • Hands-on experience with Tableau for dashboards and visualizations

  • Financial background is highly desired
