Senior Program Manager: Global Data Center Decommission

In this role, you will oversee and lead our Data Center Transformation Program from a Strategic Planning, Financials, Inventory and Metrics point of view. This includes governance, process review and implementation, best practices and communications. The scope is for all Data Centers across US and International regions.

What you’ll do

  • ​Defines program controls and governance for the areas under responsibility – processes, procedures, reporting, metrics  and policies – to manage and report on the program

  • Ensures Technology program deliverables align to the program’s desired outcome

  • Owns the planning, follow up and validation of the decommission of all assets in scope

  • Monitors and communicates program measures of success, plans, status, issues and risks in a timely manner to team members, stakeholders and senior management

  • Responsible for a team and resourcing if required

  • Budget Management including overall program budgeting and resourcing

  • Oversees change management and influences strategic direction of the program

  • Partnership with Finance across the Globe and the CSA leaders for the Financial planning and follow up

What experience you need 

  • BS or MS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required  

  • Minimal of 7 to 10 years experience in leadership and program management roles in an Agile environment

  • Minimal of 7 to 10 years of demonstrated success in delivery of multiple cross-functional, cross-business, and cross-cultural data center and infrastructure projects

  • Minimal of 1 to 3 years of experience leading transformation initiatives (data center and/or infrastructure specific).

What could set you apart

  • Certifications: Scrum Master Certification/PMP/CSM or similar

  • Fluency in English & Spanish 

  • Knowledge of Jira, Aha!, SNOW and CMDB, Google Data Studio 

  • Past experience in cloud environments (especially with GCP or AWS) desirable

  • Broad scope of technology and infrastructure experience

  • Strong experience in budgeting and creating leadership decks

  • Experience managing teams of internal & external resources, working both locally and remotely

  • Ability to negotiate and influence key personnel across multiple business units, while influencing positive change through awareness, understanding, acceptance and engagement

  • Ability to deal with conflict and multiple constituencies and manage multiple simultaneous objectives is imperative

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute task in a high-pressure environment while also being persuasive, encouraging and motivating

  • Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to deal with ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment

  • Excellent in planning and organizing team workloads 

  • Detail-oriented to manage and align data overall

  • Ability to work independently and effectively with diverse, cross cultural teams across multiple geographies and time zones
