End User Support Apprentice


Equifax has a great new opportunity to earn while you learn and gain on the job experience to kick-start your career in IT as a Apprentice End User Support Technician.The apprenticeship will run until 2024 and we are looking for someone with an interest in IT, matches our company values with flexibility and a willingness to learn.

As our Apprentice End User Support Technician you will become a valued part of the IT Support team UK&I, learn how to provide technical support, gain on the job experience, resolve first line support tickets, build and or update software/ hardware and work with experienced colleagues to resolve more complex issues.

What you’ll do

  • Successfully undertake Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship, through blended learning combined with online technical training as well as practical on the job experience

  • Provide Level 1 end user software and hardware support 

  • Ensure technology and telecommunications infrastructure is functioning appropriately

  • Manage incidents, escalating when appropriate 

  • Conduct system backups

What experience you need 

  • Ideally hold a C/4 grade in both GCSE Maths & English (or you will also be required to undertake this additional training) 

  • Good interest in technical systems (electronics, electrics, IT, security systems, telecoms)

  • Good customer/ people focused experience
