Cloud Engineering Manager

We are looking for a Cloud Engineering Manager, who  will focus on managing the day-to-day DevOps activities of the IAM team across Equifax public cloud tenants (GCP/AWS/Azure) and help implement and enforce IAM controls for applications migrating to or already deployed in public clouds.  

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the automation of cloud components using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles within a CI/CD pipeline

  • Create/enhance automation scripts, CICD pipelines to implement IAM roles, policy bindings in the public cloud

  • Work with DevOps resources on automation using CICD/Jenkins pipelines, Terraform scripts for IAM infrastructure setup and capabilities deployment.

  • Support public cloud (GCP, AWS and Azure) hosted applications and infrastructure services by maintaining and enforcing IAM policies and procedures.

  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure IAM best practices are being followed

  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for IAM issues within public cloud platforms

  • Identify gaps and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiencies

  • Remain current on cloud security trends and industry practices

  • Support the security roadmap and implementation of enterprise IAM products and services

  • Serve as subject matter expert on public cloud IAM functions

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Application Engineering & Operational support teams on Cloud IAM services and controls

  • Define the IAM cloud centric measures and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of the services and enforcement of controls


What experience you need :  

  • 10+ yrs of overall IT experience in application development, deployment, information security, and team management

  • 4+ years of Infrastructure and application deployment automation experience using DevOps automation tools (Terraform etc.) and CICD pipelines (Jenkins etc.) for the public cloud 

  • 4+ years of experience with container technologies (Docker/GKE Cluster)

  • 3+ years of experience managing the day-to-day operations of a hybrid onshore/offshore automation team and providing guidance on public cloud best practices for implementing and enforcing IAM controls.

  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud IAM functionality across multiple public cloud services (IAM Roles, Permissions and Policies)

What could set you apart :

  • Experience with Python and other scripting languages

  • Knowledge of directory services, multi-factor authentication, user provisioning, privileged access management, single sign-on, federation technologies and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC etc.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Experience with Agile methodologies

  • Experience automating system administration tasks, deployments, and other repeatable tasks 

  • Industry recognized technical or security certifications (Google/ AWS certifications, CCSP)
