What you’ll do

As a Technical Business Analyst you will identify, define and develop functional specifications that satisfy client requirements.

The key responsibilities include:

  •  Meeting with key stakeholders to gather and analyze end customer requirements.

  • Capturing and refining requirements across multi-disciplinary teams (technical and non-technical stakeholders).

  • Analyzing workflows to create process maps, use cases and isolate areas of potential improvement.

  • Developing functional documentation, user stories as required and solution design artifacts.

  • Presenting the outcome of your work to business and technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned with the solution proposed.

  • Provide estimates and track your progress.

  • Be accountable for setting priorities and addressing issues.

  • Assist clients with ongoing support for applications.

  • Review documentation created by other project team members.  

Eventually you will help with other Business Analysis related tasks like:

  • Guiding and mentoring junior business analysts.

  • Preparing material and providing training to assist end users during/following implementation.

  • Leading production deployment planning and performing system validation.

What experience you need

  • Tertiary qualifications in technology, project or business administration – Degree of Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science

  • Experience in writing User stories, technical requirements

  • Over 5 years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst/Technical Analyst

  • Great attitude with excellent analytical skills

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile with focus on quality

  • Excellent in strategic problem solving and planning

  • Strong ability to remove any blockers

  • Develop confidence with both, business and IT stakeholders using outcome-based engagement models

  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with the stakeholders and ensure internal client satisfaction
